Mycorrhizal fungi

One of the most important factors for growing a healthy palm tree is a good soil. It is very important to give your palm tree right amount of nutrients, water, but the best thing you can do for your palm is giving it right soil in the addition of beneficial mycorrhizal fungi.

Mycorrhizae defines the beneficial relationship between palm roots and a fungus. In the wild about 95% of the world's plants (palm trees) create the mycorrhizal relationship. The roots of most palm trees are colonized by the fungus. Mycorrhizal fungi protects the plant from diseases, promotes faster growth, speeds transplant recovery, improves root growth and redices drought shock.
